Megadeth-Endgame
Since the early 1980s, Megadeth has put out a series of classic thrash metal albums, such as Killing Is My Business, Peace Sells But Whos Buying?, and Rust In Peace, thrusting them to the top as one of the most influential and ground breaking artists of the thrash metal genre .
In January of 2009, Megadeth took to the studio to make their 11th studio album entitled Endgame, which is the follow- up to their 2007 album United Abominations.
Endgame's" first track, Dialectic Chaos, consists of an instrumental odyssey with insanely fast, loud guitar work, courtesy of new lead guitar player Chris Broderick and master frontman Dave Mustaine, and crushing drum solos. Dialectic Chaos syncs directly into the second track, This Day We Fight!, a thrash-metal song that signals Megadeth is still alive and well. The third track of the album, 1,320, ultimately showcases the greatness that is Megadeth. The fast riffs and insane drum solos from "Endgame" should made anyone appreciate how great Megadeth is, and has always been. There is not a disappointing moment in this album. Every song is spectacular, and the musicianship on this latest offering is amazing as well.
Going into the studio, Megadeth knew the sound they wanted, and they achieved it in Endgame. It's fast, heavy, and shows that Megadeth is still capable of making amazing metal records. Dave shows, once again, that he knows what the fans want and knows how to give it to them. As long as he can keep Megadeth alive and well, and always support the fans, Megadeth will be sticking around for a long while. "Endgame" is a modern day "Rust in Peace".
