TANTRIC-The End Begins (release: 04.22.08)Silent Majority Groupwww. myspace. com/tantricWritten by: Jackie RyanComing from Louisville, KY the five-some of TANTRIC has put out a really interesting new album with The End Begins. Set to release April 22 I got a chance to listen to the full length and wasn't too impressed. They throw in violins and piano with hard guitar riffs and strong drumming. I think the music itself is amazing, but the vocals can be a little overpowering. The deep vocals of Hugo Ferreira don't really match with the sound of the music. In the track entitled DOWN & OUT the violins start it out, sounding like it came straight from the movie Queen of the Damned. They give a sad vibe, but the drums and guitars give off a angry vibe. Overall wasn't too impressed.
